Bobby B. Pitchford, a name many are familiar with as a long time resident of Waller, TX…..but a name that gun enthusiasts associate with as “one of the best gunsmiths around"!  

Pitchford Custom Gunworks at 28703 Margerstadt Rd. is a full service shop located approximately 5 miles outside of Waller, TX.    obby has been an avid hunting, fishing and outdoors man all his life, and feels extremely privileged to be able to do what he loves for a living.  His experience with both hunting and competitive rifles gives him the know how to deliver a top-rate product to his customers.  Pitchford Custom Gunworks is committed to delivering not only the “best service” possible to customers, but also a “complete service” that will handle jobs for most any rifle, shotgun or handgun, with a promise from Bobby to treat your firearm like it were his own.

It is hard work and dedication, passed from generation to generation that inspired Bobby to carry on the legacy of operating his own family business, along with his wife and sons.

The Pitchford family is a longtime Waller, TX grassroots family.  Bobby began his working career as a mechanic at Waller Tire and Wheel, a business his parents owned and operated for over 20 years.  He also volunteered in the Waller Fire Department and EMS service as a first responder, EMT.  He continued his Emergency Medical education by earning his Paramedic license, and served in areas of Harris, Montgomery and Waller counties during the next 12 years as a paramedic.  While working as a Paramedic, Bobby worked as a gunsmith in the rifle division for Briley Manufacturing in Houston until 2004.  He was responsible for many products, services, and the custom built rifles that would bring loyal customers back to him time and time again.
